Sweet and the Beast

Laney is so funny. That is really the only way that I can describe her. I realize that all people think that their children are funny, but come on...Laney really is. She does not really talk yet. She says a few words but only Blake and I hold the secrets to her language. See if you can figure it out.

When I say that she doesn't talk I mean that mostly she just barks. This video is the perfect example of her barking. I have to admit that I knew what was going to happen when I put Gavin up to this. Whether you speak "bark" or not you will most definitely understand this.

Just Cute

While we were in Beaver Gavin and Ethan (my cousins little boy) got along great. It was nice to have someone around for Gavin to play with. While the husbands were out shooting rabbits one day my sister Sarah and I made some headbands. Gavin and Ethan just happened to be our guinea pigs. However, after we were done trying them on them they wanted to keep them on. What can you do if a boy just wants to accessorize?

Angelina Jolie Eat Your Heart Out!

We went to Beaver this weekend for Thanksgiving. "What's in Beaver Utah?" you ask....My Aunt Kim. While we were there Aunt Sarah bought these wax lips for Gavin. Not only did these lips make us feel very nostalgic, they were also funny.

I Am Thakful For...

I am thankful for my kids! They are such a joy (most of the time) to be around. All in all I would say that Blake and I are very lucky! I am also thankful for their laughing. Even if on occasion it is forced and somewhat alarming.

Tis The Season

Our Christmas tree is up! Isn't it lovely! We won't be here for Thanksgiving so we figured what the heck. Plus we believe why not enjoy Christmas for longer?

Our Magic Place

Gavin and Laney have a special spot that they like to play. Gavin calls it his "car." Almost daily they get their favorite toys and bring them to this place. Here is Laney bringing her babies. The one on the right is her favorite, the other one just happens to be along for the ride. (That's funny because Gavin calls it the "car"get it...ride:))

A yes, the magic place! Nothing is more special than underneath the sink. They climb in with their toys and play. Sometimes Gavin closes the door which Laney does not like or sometimes Laney just abandons ship early, much to Gavin's chagrin.

Either way they have a great time.

Dancing with Rudolph

We decided today that we were going to start to decorate for Christmas. I know it's early but I just can't help myself. I love Christmas. Gavin and Laney were having a great time with this Rudolph toy that Grandma Jones got for Laney last year. Check out their dance moves. Sorry that Laney is naked yet again (well, with the exception of one sock and one shoe) right before bed we just get lazy.

Rub-a-Dub-Dub!

Today we had dinner at our friends Mark and Cathy's house. After a fabulous dinner (well done Cathy!) The kids all hopped in the tub for a group bath. There is nothing as fun as bathing with your friends.

Yep it's green just a different shade. What can I say. I like green. It is more muted so you don't feel like you are walking into a mexican fiesta. But, green none the less.

Uh Oh!

Our Little Laney got to have her first emergency room visit on Saturday. She fell in Grandma Dana's closet and hit a door jam. They had to glue her cut together. They said that she could have had stitches but that the glue leaves less of a scar. It doesn't look quite as bad as it did the day of, but you get the gist.
