Twenty Three Weeks
On another baby note:
I was thinking the other day about baby names. Then I got to wondering if people think that we name our babies strange names? I think that Gavin is a pretty normal name and Laney isn't too strange...Canon may be a little out there...
I was wondering because I have had several people comment that they are interested in what this baby's name will be.
I think we are somewhat decided on a name unless we find a better one that trumps it.
We liked the name Penny, but that was axed due to the fact that her initials would have been P.U. and lets face it, you just can't do that to a child. It is cruel.
So rested assured we will try not to make life harder for her by giving her a weird name.
(I would also like to throw this out there...In our ward in Vegas there is a family that is having a boy and naming him Canon. So it must not be all that out there?)
That's what she said.

My Girl
She talks a lot and likes to tell stories or just inform you of what has happened during the day.
Most of the time when she is really into her story she does a funny little "click" noise with her tongue. This lets us know that she is gearing up to tell us something good.

Perhaps
- I may have eaten at least one kiwi a day if not more for the last week and a half.
- I may have eaten this sandwich 3 days in a row and probably would have eaten it more times but we ran out of cheese. Which I believe is a blessing in disguise.
- Before we knew whether this baby was a boy or a girl we may have had a boy name.
- The boys name may have been Finn but was axed due to the fact that the boys initials would have been F.U.
- I may weigh the exact same amount I did when I was this pregnant with Canon.
- I may have just finished the last book in Fablehaven, and it was awesome.
- We may be going to Vegas this weekend in order to get to see our family before I get too pregnant and before it gets too hot there.
- Our house in Vegas may be closing today...fingers crossed.
- This salsa may be my new favorite thing. (On a side note: if you are making this...I use 2 jalapenos, more onion, garlic and I normally add 1/2 tsp. of cumin, sugar and salt. I like it better that way.)

Things That Make Me Smile
Canon talking about his Raccoon and Ratatouille.
Most of the time when he is talking to Ratatouille he is bossing him around. Pointing his finger and scolding "Two-ee!"
Our kids love to jump off of the couch.
Gavin is quite graceful at it...Laney not so much.

Baby
Here is her profile.
Here is her attempt at modesty. Those are legs crossed at the ankles for those of you that are not ultrasound pros.
Laney is very happy and wants the baby to come out now.
On a side note:
The other day when trying to explain how doctors can see what sex the baby is the following conversation took place.

Kicking It 2005 Style
When Blake and I first moved to Vegas we only had one car. I don't really see that changing anytime soon either.

We Are Having Baby Number 4.
PS. I just realized the other day, that by having another baby, when we go out to eat we are going to have a party of six all by ourselves. They are going to have to push tables together to accommodate us.

It Was Bound To Happen
Not much is happening at our house lately. Nothing worth blogging about anyways. The kids say funny things so that seems to be the theme of this blog lately. Truth be told most of the people reading this blog care more about them then what is going on in my life anyways. Which by the way is nothing. I am working on a couple of projects and as soon as I finish them I will post pictures.I figured one day this would come up. I had hoped it would be in the privacy of our house or car. But what are you going to do? When I was telling Blake the story he asked if I was embarrassed. I told him No. If an adult can't understand why a child is curious then that is their own fault. I always figured that Gavin would be the one to say something like that. However, lately he has been telling me that people have different hair, and skin, and eyes and that that is OK. It is nice to see he is learning diversity in preschool. Especially living here in Utah where there is not much of it.
